Do you know what weight it is, and who makes the material? It looks great. I don't know if I could do the full white suit (given my habits of eating pizza and sitting on the ground), but dupioni is really beautiful material.

Cool, thanks. Chan only makes up suits from cloth they keep in stock, right?

Don't know. Probably, considering that many of their suits are quick turnaround.

I bought this suit something like 10+ years ago, so who knows what they have in stock now.

Nice slim-fitting suit.  Who's the maker I should compliment?

I think he ran through his cycle of pictures he considered excellent enough to bear his name. I'm sure (and hope) he'll be back with another batch of pictures/outfits to sprinkle here and there over the course of a few months.

It's the very first of Alden of Carmel's "fan" shoes. AF-1

I bought them many years ago. My first pair of cordovan shoes.

I would think about 1998. nephew, take good care of the saddle

I think you would greatly benefit from a two-button silhouette. And maybe a smaller leg opening.

The jacket length was shortened a further 0.5" or so from standard though (for a first purchase from SS, I decided to let the salesperson decide most aspects of the alterations, just to see how well they'd handle the whole process). It's the shortest jacket in my wardrobe except a BBBF BB0 that's 0.25" shorter (no length alteration on that one), but the BBBF has more closed fronts so it doesn't appear as short as the more open Havana. I think that in future, I won't get a Havana shortened (or at least, not by quite as much). That's a minor thing though; I'm content with the length on this one as it currently is, as a different option to have within my wardrobe.

And thanks for the +ve feedback, mrjester!

How tall are you, Holdfast? I would've thought you would be taller than someone wearing a 34R.

I've been looking at the old posts and that's what he seems to do. Posts for awhile then disappears for awhile. But now he has his own Tumbler. I need to start my own Tumbler as well. Does that cost anything to start one?
