HOF: What Are You Wearing Right Now - Part III - Page 3509

My crispaire does look like that above, and I highly doubt my tailor is being supplied fake cloth. In fact I think 332044 is what my trousers are made of.

It just doesn't seem to be as loosely woven as this (Minnis):

It wears cool anyways, so who cares if the weave is not exactly the same...

Is that some Panta MTM?

Looks good.

Diaz, Minnis is generally a little more open but Crispaire is definitely an open weave. Hold it up to the light and you'd never mistake it for a worsted.

Can't see that much by these pictures?

Not a fan of the shoes (more of a duble monk guy) but that's a personal taste.

When I first got this jacket I was happy with the shoulder expression, but the more I look at it, the more I dislike the overall silhouette. Can't quite figure out what to do to make future commissions look better, perhaps it's just my body shape. I was thinking some more shoulder extension, leaner chest, less padding, fuller sleeves and more closed quarters, but I can't be sure about the results.

Button stance is too high. Not much you can do

The posts that I've seen you make, a lot of people here can learn from. You never over do it (the blackwatch debacle notwithstanding) and you have just the right amount of obviously caring about clothes but wearing it like you don't. The fact that you are a teacher is rather mind boggling.

Thanks.  Why is me being a teacher mind boggling?

What were you going for with this look?

Without knowing what your objective was, I can suggest that your hank would look better either stuffed deeper into the pocket or, if you want to show more of it, puffed. Also, the picture gives the impression that the trousers are flannel. Is that right? If so, they would be a rather unseasonal choice. And the tie. The tie is irredeemable.

Nay. The quarters are too open, but the button stance is fine.

Thanks! Shirt is Spoon MTM and the tie is Polo. According to Ed, the same tie maker makes for Panta, too, so you might see if he has any grenadines in stock now.
