If you look past his anti-semitism Wagner was truly a remarkable composer. I heard they perform the entire 16 hour version of the Ring des Nibelungen tetralogy in one day over in Tokyo, might have to check that out :O

did u do Bayreuth?   damn.

No, the Bayreuther Festspiele start in Juli, I was at Leipzig.

conclusion - driving is awesome everywhere

Well, there is general tri-state area of New Yorck City and then there is the city itself.  I'd guess that Spoo doesn't live in the five boroughs (given the Ferrari) though I could be wrong.  In any event, I doubt he or anyone else would find driving that car or any other in Midtown traffic relaxing, which is what I believe Tirailleur1 was trying to express

Even Wagner looked past his own antisemitism. One of his favorite, most-trusted conductors was Herman Levi, the son of a rabbi. Wagner picked and entrusted Levi to conduct the first performance of "Parsifal". While I am big, big fan of the music of Richard Wagner, I also enjoy this quote by Mark Twain (as did Igor Stravinsky): "Wagner's music is better than it sounds."

New custom length tie and braces.

Simply flawless. I must ask, what braces are those? What width? You've just made me fall in love with braces; there won't be any partying this summer, I won't afford it...

y'all muhfukkas all alone on that boat. It is one of the main reasons I moved to New York

It's good that you recognize this about yourself and stay off the road. If only more would do the same...

well, yes, midtown driving is miserable. which is why its absurd that T moved there. drivinf is awesome, and one should live where driving can be experienced. smile.gif
