I'm curious, what made you decide to put a cuff on jeans? All the selvedge rolling?

Oh no specific reasons, I have the cuff fever and been cuffing even some of my more casual pants...(incotex cargo down below)

The pants were actually not your average/ typical jeans, they were denim trousers (without back pockets and dressier pockets on the side without rivets and such) so i thought id give it a try :)

Can we please stop all this denim abuse?

Seriously though, there are many interesting ways of integrating denim into MC looks (and of course, much more outside of MC) but Dad Jeans never look good.

You don't cuff jeans. There are no exceptions.

Try some of this stuff with knakis and leave denim alone.

Actually, you do, and there are many ways - but not this way.

Confex tweed jacket.
Turbull & Asser blue shirt.
Club Room knit tie.
Generic blue cotton PS.
Volcom Khaki chinos.
Allen Edmonds loafers.

This looks really good. I would have gone with a solid tie as I think that would reduce the clash with the already rather busy jacket. My only qualm, as was already pointed out, is that the jacket doesn't really work with bare ankles - it just looks odd. Add socks and you're set....

This jacket is a real pain to match to just about anything. Judging by the colours - mainly black, white and tan - it should be easy match but it just never really comes out looking good, regardless of which trousers I pick. I tried my chocolate brown chinos today - not completely satisfied.

It's a pity because it's a really nice and soft silk/cashmere mix which fits me perfectly. Still, I occasionally try to get into the rotation...

This might be the moment for the dreaded navy trousers to make an appearance. I'm not liking the chinos with this one and I can see why it's a tough jacket to pair up. I would not have been brave enough to buy it!
