HOF: What Are You Wearing Right Now - Part III - Page 3456

I wasn't sure if I should post this or not given its casual nature, but I wore it today.  This is my other pair of denim trousers.  They're slim, flat front, made in a light-weight denim, and are are from this decade.

peepwall[1].gif I actually have four pair of horsebit loafers: dark brown and light brown leather and dark brown and light brown suede.  I love them more than my pleated denim.

I like this look. But I feel like maybe hemming them to correct length and uncreasing them would improve it. I hate creasing pants that are not dressy. But they is just me. (not like i don't have some creased chinos. But I hardly do it)

I like the jacket a lot and it's something I will use to go out to a bar or something like that… don't hate me SF. smile.gif

I love the pants, shirt, jacket, pocket square and shoes.  The socks seem a bit out of place.  They don't seem to pick up any other colors in the outfit.  Where are the shirt and pants from?

You are right, those socks were a bad choice. shirts are Borrelli I picked up from Ian @ STF and pants from Tommy Hilfiger runway collection they did few years back. Cheers mate

Hey all,

Haven't been posting on SF in a while, and it's nice to be back. Got a lot of stuff I'm hoping to post, and hopefully I've improved (no more crazy shortness, waist suppresion, etc.) and can start to impress...

Confex tweed jacket.
Turbull & Asser blue shirt.
Club Room knit tie.
Generic blue cotton PS.
Volcom Khaki chinos.
Allen Edmonds loafers.

I think all these items individually look great.  The proportions and fit are also quite good.  I'm quite surprised at how good those Volcom chinos look.  I don't think the items quite go together though.

The jacket seems like a heavy duty tweed (which is really beautiful by the way) which doesn't make sense with bare ankles. The tie is lovely, but I feel the knot doesn't work.  Knit ties are casual and look best with four-in-hand knots IMO.  Lastly, the shirt seems very formal for such an informal jacket and tie.

Not that big a deal though.  All the items are great.  Keep em coming.
