MisterFu, WW Chan is GREAT if and only if you are confident in what you are looking for. They botched a couple of jackets for me but they made it right (even paying the import duties on the jackets they sent to Brazil and were a mess). Here are some full body pics (mostly tpics from traveling or relaxing with the missus (one at the Opera). I recommend them, but I know there might be others that fare beter cost/benefit wise.

And about the 242339042 buttons (7, really), yeah, at 6'5" I don't see why have only 4 or 5 buttons with a lot of space in-between.

Sugarbutch, you gave a newbie a compliment - even if backhandedly - should you now feel disgusted at yourself? As you can see from below, hankies are not my thing, so I really mean duly noted in the last post.

Let the hating begin! :) - yes, I am begging for attention, can I get at least 5 pity thumbs up out of this? I think I got enough XP to advance...

The compliment was not at all backhanded.

(Actually, not true. I do give one regarding the blurriness of the full photo. My STUPID camera refocused itself as I was hitting the timer button and I didn't realize it until I got to the office and it was too late! Never fear; I plan to buy a remote control in the near future....)

Edit: Oops. Sorry about that misfire on the pics. Fixed.

This is just atrocious : - ) No fuck was given, I know.

The combo works better at a distance than up close.

And, everyone else, please don't start posting GIFs of your fits. Page loading will be glacial.

So the two examples above are in line with my tastes and both are terrific looking suits. After two decades of MTM and custom tailored suits, I think most tailors would agree I am easy to work with as I provide pretty specific instructions and my tastes on fit run fairly conservative (no jackets ending 4 inches above the inseam or skin tight sharkskin for me).  I completely understand the seven button waistcoat as I am 6'6" myself.

I like what I see, though I'd like to know your thoughts on the fabrics and where they are sourced (as I have heard, on other SF threads, that counterfeit fabrics are a big problem in HK, even if used unintentionally). Also, how did you actually interact with the tailor? Did you visit the shop in HK and how did they handle the baste fitting, etc.? I always have a difficult time coordinating my US & UK appointments with my preferred London based tailor. Feel free to PM me if you want to avoid turning this thread into an ad hoc HK tailors thread.
