i would never accuse you of committing such a vile and egregious sin. i was just saying i have a hard time pairing striped jackets or pants, that are not suits. some can do it, but to date, not me.

Had the chance to wear a 3-piece today. It doesn't come very often. Suit is WW Chan and the million buttons on the vest was by design. I tried for some balance between colours: purple, blue and white. Sorry about the vest pic, the angle is too extreme.

The tie is not to my taste, but whatever. I can say objectively, however, that the hank should never be used, especially not in combination with that tie. You should regard this as an immutable law of physics.

Canta, I agree with you just about all the time, but I have to disagree on this. A navy dot tie is a classic and looks great with a grey suit.

sugarbutch, at this point should I run screaming like a newbie cause my feelings are hurt or spend whole paragraphs defending my choices? ah, it doesn't matter. Immutable law of physics duly noted.

So what I see of the suit, shoes and socks I quite like (including the umpteen button waistcoat). Not sure about that tie and shirt combo. Can we get a full picture of the suit (I am debating on giving Chan a shot on my next trip to HK)?

This is a joke, right? The whole video on kickstarter has the feel of a SNL fake commercial.

Looks good combo-wise but isn't the neck on the shirt a little loose? Correct me if I'm wrong, please. biggrin.gif

Thanks. Perhaps it was the pose. At rest, it lightly touches my neck all the way round.
