Drastically cheap suit, and the return of the dreaded BD collar. Any thoughts, other than "This would be much better if the suit were plain navy, without the stripe, and were significantly nicer." or "YRR needs to get out of the habit of undoing his tie on the drive home, then hastily re-tying it to snap a picture?" I've already had both of those.

Summer is finally arriving here in Northern Michigan. I am looking to purchase my first summer suit; probably something linen as oppose to seersucker. Does anyone here recommend any sources besides ebay?

I just ordered a Hickey Freeman navy pinstripe that was 50/50 linen wool

There has to be a big difference for linen/wool blend as oppose to linen. Never have I tried linen/wool blend, but I'd imagine it is warm, no?

Well the problem with 100% linen is the wrinkling. I figured with a blend it would wear lighter and keep its shape better

Warmer than 100% linen, cooler than 100% wool -- for equivalent weights, of course.

For the Norwegian National Day (17 May):
Not satisfied with the tie knot, but I don't wear ties that often, so let me be excused.
LBM 1911, Eton tie, Luxire shirt, J. Crew chinos.

Have you tried shirts with a taller collar, mate?

If you haven't figured out that 90% of the bollocks I post in this board, and that post in particular, is done (at least in part) in jest then you've definitely missed something.

What have I missed?
