Just never seen anyone wearing a cardigan under a DB jacket, that's why I asked. But it makes sense if it's a little colder outside.

I would get #1 and #2 made without hesitation. For the plus fours, you've got to be rather brave tongue.gif

I like these kinds of colours for Spring. Brave combo with the shoes; perhaps they're enough of a statement to not need a blue pocket square as well.

Having recently bought a similarly-coloured jacket, I'm enjoying this as inspiration for more combos for it.

Would be massively improved by either an icy-blue solid shirt IMO. Otherwise, I like the colours.

Proof to all the SF zombies that gray jacket and navy strides can work perfectly in the right context HF. Well done!

Thanks! I must admit, I wondered if anyone here would notice the "light jacket on top of dark trousers" & "navy odd trousers" non-SFy elements.

I have a rather similar suit in a birdseye cloth. It's not vintage by any means (only old), but I still like it a lot. I'll try to remember to wear it soon!

Another relaxed sort of day:

Those are a (moderately thick) cotton, from Zegna's Gritti line, bought some years ago at a deep discount. With that colour, you can see why they were on sale! But I actually find them quite versatile, provided the rest of the outfit isn't too loony. You might want to try some of the fast-fashion brands as boldly-coloured chinos still seem to be in favour this year (perhaps less so than in the last couple of years, I think, but still around). You'll probably struggle to find a wool version though.
