This is my first tailored suit. What do you think? There is obviously still some work to be done like shortening and fitting the pants a bit more, I think they are wider/ baggier than they should be. The collar on the jacket is to be made as well as some adjustments to the shoulders.

I hope those shoes are plastic and not real crocodile scales. I mean you wouldn't really go kill a crocodile and then paint its skin brown just to make shoes out of it would you??

The weather has turned cool today, after a warm (and occasionally very wet) weekend, and I've a fund-raiser to attend this evening, so I've dragged out the dreaded black suit for the occasion, which should go over well this evening, and go unnoticed during the day in my office, before it's retired for the season.

Suit - BB GF Regent
Shirt - BB
Tie - Charvet
Cufflinks - Niletti Creations, NYC
Shoes - C & J

Does if you work where I do. Totally see how weird that sounds though.

This is real python leather, with real python scales. I'm not that badass to go kill a real python, but i don't see a problem with using its leather. I mean you wear shoes made out of cute cow babies, do you??

It's so hideous it's beautiful.  I mean that quite sincerely.

Where did you get them?  They've made my day.

Are you referring to my shoes? If so, I've got them made from a local shoemaker.

Yes - where is "local"?  They are awesome - and I commend your originality.

Thanks! He's located in Yerevan, Armenia, if you will be here someday just tell me and i can arrange meeting with him and with a dealer of really good exotic skins. He's making shoes for a really good price.

In my opinion, the jacket is, at least, 2 inches too short and those shoulders are a bit wider than what I could picture as flattering for you. The first picture shows a short front balance, but that could not be there in fact. Also, do not make those trousers slimmer! They're tight in your hips (the gapping pockets are the evidence) as is, let some out there.

I am confused by the shoulders. Without the jacket it looks like you have fairly normal shoulders. Not sloping, but not Kevin McHale square. Why is this jacket both sitting well beyond the width of your shoulders and completely squared off and then higher? This looks like a bespoke fitting so did you ask the tailor to do this?
