I've done it, but no pics. I like one that's pretty open, and then you need to do a bunch of surgery to the base of the flower. The Brioni bouttonniere book talks a little bit about the procedure. About the size, the larger the better for me. --Andre

thanks for the feedback B. never knew this (the angling piece). is there a rationale for that? sprezz? off to spend a 1000 dollars on a safety pin (not!!).
