Is the fit of the jacket okay? White PS may look a little off here, but unfortunately hadn't had access to my full wardrobe. I'd rather go sockless with dark brown calfskin loafers or tan shoes and cream socks, too. Nonetheless, here is the fit:

Socklessness is the work of Satan.  Your shoes and socks are both appropriate and magnificent.

I'd suggest a warmer-coloured tie, or even just the PS as you suggested, but the overall effect is most respectable and considered.  Nice work!

Just goes to show that its never good to click on this thread.

I don't have many non dark ties but I do have two red ones that I like. I will admit that your disapproval did cross my mind but I can't bring myself to consider red ties in bad taste.

Yellow ties however...

Thanks guys.

The shoes are not bespoke and they are certainly not made by the famous polish shoemaker, Kielman. They were kop'd for 20 bucks, unused, with some tiny marks on leather (easily covered with cream and wax).

Strange thing, I couldn't find out, who were they made by. The label reads "made in england" and "goodyear welted" only. There are also some serial numbers and a logotype (coat-of-arms lookalike), which I couldn't identify. I suppose those are made by Loake or Barker for an english house brand, like Tyrwhitt or sth.

They are rather of average quality and were a pain in the ass to break in.

Final alteration. Do you think the break is too much?

My criticism would be:

Buttoning point is a bit high.
Too much waist suppression on the jacket
Jacket is slightly long
Trousers are too long and seem a bit full in comparison to how snug the jacket fits.

I know you are just looking at fit, but having that on without a tie is just so WRONG that I am blinded!

This is how it's done. Terrific all around.

( great looks for the 'Tieless' challenge yesterday folks, I think Holdfast may have taken my vote on that jacket alone, the neckerchief may have been cheating though? but who am I to complain about cheating in a challenge? )[/quote]
