( great looks for the 'Tieless' challenge yesterday folks, I think Holdfast may have taken my vote on that jacket alone, the neckerchief may have been cheating though? but who am I to complain about cheating in a challenge? )

Thanks, Doc, and NEVAR! I'm a respectable midwesterner, and we don't undo more than one button. teacha.gif

I'm pleased you revised your decision later on! smile.gif

Thanks! And IMO, a little bending of the rules makes the world go round. :)

BTW, your look today is stellar, and I'm not saying that 'cos of what you said about my oufit. I love the colours, and all the elements really sing together; genuinely top-tier. icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

I met a cousin to the two other dogs in the same park yesterday and asked him/her for a portrait. So here is my collection of Dalmatians.

Grey vintage suit above (1940´s) and a new linen suit below.

Attending my mom's barbecue birthday party today. Rocking a navy wool blazer with MOP buttons, sky blue cutaway shirt, cream chinos, white linen PS, cream/navy silk tie, mahogany full brogue oxfords and same socks.

Is the fit of the jacket okay? White PS may look a little off here, but unfortunately hadn't had access to my full wardrobe. I'd rather go sockless with dark brown calfskin loafers or tan shoes and cream socks, too. Nonetheless, here is the fit:

Happy Derby day. Would've been even happier if my horse had won, but oh well. smile.gif

Seems a bit overdressed for a barbecue, but you look nice. I might have chosen the lighter shoes for the ensemble, though.

madeinpoland, fantastic simple yet powerful combination.
Somebody looking old money is a rare sight at the forums between a whole lot of costume and #menswear hipsters.
Are your shoes by a Polish maker?
