Thanks for this. I think you're right that the fit of the suit is off a bit. There are a few reasons and some you already mentioned.

-Button stance is a bit off at times due to the original design based on buttoning the bottom button. I changed it after realizing that was a mistake. Still need to add an inner button so that it doesn't pull like it does. That'd fix a lot of the button stance problem.

-Pants were because I wanted something very loose and comfortable. I think you're right that I should have had a higher rise. The jacket itself might have been better off slightly shorter with how tightly it fits on top.

-Lastly, I made it last year and I'm the dumb guy that gained shoulder mass and worked on my lats the whole time. I think ALL of my suits fit slightly off these days.

Now that is a sign of summertime. The shirt and tie combo with the lt. tan seersucker is rather splashy, and would really wake a person up, but you pull it off well. 9.5 points -- .5 deducted for a plain withe PS, bright and fluffy to offset the shirt & tie, would complete the eye opener.

What are the shoes? They look great.

I like the color play. The shoulder seems pretty strong for a casual type of suit, but I'll let the specialists weigh in on that one. The tie is great for summer.

Nice suit and combo there Crusty. I have had my eye on a seersucker but even though the SW is close to the South, seersuckers are rare here. In fact they are not even stocked at our best Dept Store. I am on my way to the Caribbean and will hopefully stumble on some nice linen, etc. Well done!

The resemblance to Crispin Glover was also mentioned by Holdfast a little while back in an earlier post......the look is entirely unintentional though.

He is a bit of an oddball when interviewed, and although I'm not a huge fan of his earlier stuff (I never actually saw Back to the Future part I or II), his performance in Bartleby killed me....you really gotta see it.

That combo is screaming out for a white button down shirt. And I think cuff links are too formal for seersucker. Looks like a fun suit to wear, enjoy.
