I'd have to agree with sugarbutch. Why are you opposed to this?

I can't not compare this jacket with Whnay's Rubinacci ones (not saying that they're equals), did you take any stylistic cues from the London House cut or do you recognize any similarities?

Not really, this is just MTM. Whnay's usually have roped shoulders if I recall correctly, but other than that I don't see any similarities. I asked for open quarters, higher armholes (though I will get them higher for future orders) and very thin shoulder padding (because I hate square-ish shoulders). Other than that, it's just the MTM house cut.

And when I say "hin

t" I mean the bright sun in the morning fooled me. It's actually quite cold (53ºF/12ºC), the sun is gone and I regret my choice of lightweight wool trousers baldy%5B1%5D.gif

Is your MTM tailor Absolute Bespoke? I have only seen this lapel shape in some of their suits
post #49389 of 78723

Nope, but the cut is rather similar. I wouldn't be surprised if the jackets are made at the same place. You're right:

The form my tailor fills out to send to the MTM factory says "Segura Taylor". Looks like the garments are made in Navarra.

Off to an opening at the Modern this evening, and, in honor of the continued warmth here in NYC, another meteorologically appropriate suit - a variant on yesterday's look.

Suit - BB Fitzgerald
Shirt & PS - BB
Tie - Hermes
Cufflinks - Metropolitan Museum of Art
Shoes - C & J Maltons
Hat - Seifter Associates

ive addressed my issue with higher rise trousers before. I dont like them on me...makes me feel like i have a short torso. As for the quarters, i prefer them opened a bit, but its not a huge issue to me if my belt is showing a tad. Maybe one day ill change my mind, but I doubt it.
