Boglioli suit, Charles Tyrwhitt shirt (probably 8 or 9 years old), tie and PS J press, and no vis shoes Sargent/BB suede chukkas. [/SPOILER

Splendid! Another argument for the necessity of owning and wearing a DB suit!

Nice looking jacket but isn't it a little too tight ( the infamous "X" in the jacket material)?

The X doesn't appear when I'm standing straight (without my hand in my pocket). But the alterations tailor was a bit overzealous in taking the waist in; I'll probably go in to have it loosened a bit as it does feel a little more restrictive than I'd like.

(also, it's a suit)

The tie is darker in real life.

Thanks, it's a Suitsupply. Haven't found a RTW brand that fits me better than SS. This suit required no alterations, except for the obligatory hemming of the pants.

A little hint of spring was all I needed to get this new tie out...

And when I say "hint" I mean the bright sun in the morning fooled me. It's actually quite cold (53ºF/12ºC), the sun is gone and I regret my choice of lightweight wool trousers baldy[1].gif
