Shoulder extension (up to a certain point, obviously) is a stylistic choice. Really, it doesn't seem excessive in that picture. Fit is determined by whether the armhole sits at the right place or not.

I very rarely think you are wrong, but here, I have to say that you are. It's a simple, classic combination anchored by a beautifully-made suit. The outrageous lining is something that, in general, only the wearer will know about and enjoy. I really don't see how you can have a problem with the suit. The only thing I think you are correct about is the braces - but then, like the lining they aren't supposed to be seen either.

Wasn't he talking about Vox's outfit in that post?

I love the colour of that sports coat Derek. Agree that lighter trousers probably would work better.

Here's my effort today. Nothing exiting...

have a nice weekend everyone

The statement you replied to was in terms of vox's outfit. But that other guy's suit is bad. First off the styling I'm getting sick of seeing. It is too short, legs too tight and the cinched waist is making the skirt flare out. It is just too tight all over.

As far as the lining. People see lining much more than you think.

Hi guys. Made the Drudge Report (study shows walking as good as running). Will be interviewed at BBC’s national news radio station in the UK at 1750 gmt.
This proves, as has been frequently commented on here, that my satorial skills are best suited for radio.

Perfect counterpoint to those who are always yammering on about how black shoes are only appropriate for funerals.  Looks good here, IMO.
