new chocolate raw silk by Vanda.....G and his wife outdo themselves...Absolutely LOVE these ties. Light, perfect drape and length, beautifully constructed.
Square is EG Cappelli, noname sportcoat, panta trous and G&G Hoves.

The shirt collars are a miss for me i think...a bit too small for my tastes. Thoughts?

I'm wearing a Vanda tie today as well, one of my absolute favourites icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

I was planning to order a few ties from their website today, I think you just convinced me to go for the raw silk nod[1].gif

Thanks for the encouragement fistbump.gif (my wallet was less happy about it though)

In the end I went for a burnt orange cashmere, a burgundy silk repp and a blue/brown check silk/linen. I've been drooling over the cashmere tie for quite some time now. Let the waiting begin....

I've been lusting after that chocolate raw silk on their site for some time now - I don't need this temptation!

Looks brilliant though, nice outfit. I think I'd prefer it with a light blue shirt with slightly bigger/more spread collars though.

The cashmere looks exquisite.

I bought them at Paul Stuart in New York, but according to the store (and to the experts online who recognize heel nail patterns), they are Grenson Masterpiece.

Thanks. A Homburg isn't that easy to wear (one has to be of a certain age to wear it, rather than it wearing the wearer), but I happen to like the hat with today's topcoat. I would have preferred the hat in grey, but it was not available - maybe when next I am in London (rumored to be the end of May), I can visit Lock or Bates and see if they have a grey one in my size.

Agreed on the shirt collar. Longer collar points would be better. The spread angle looks good though, so there's that.

I just added a brown knit to my tie selection, and I've probably worn it three or four times in a couple weeks. I really like that raw silk too though. The decisions we have to make...

I was wondering that because I have a pair of Grenson G Zero boots (the collection that "replaced" the Masterpiece collection):

The overall look of them are very similar to your boots, but I see now that it totally makes sense that they do look alike biggrin.gif

Nice combo CP, but I am all against unbuttoning the first button on surgeon cuffs!

That kind of cuff is one of those details I like to know myself that I have, but not everyone else smile.gif

Completely agree, RDiaz.

CP, in addition to the unbuttoned cuff, that shirt and tie is way too country for such a city suit IMO.

I do like the color combo though.

Golly! I did not notice that it was unbuttoned until I posted the picture. Oh well.
