HOF: What Are You Wearing Right Now - Part III - Page 3184

Suit rocks - really rocks, tie looks great.  I prefer a touch too much trouser break to having them hovering above your ankles when standing and heading north to your calves when seated.  Don't understand the hair.

Thanks guys. Re: the hair...I'm usually bald (well, I am bald) but its just too damn cold from Dec-April for me, which just hit me recently. This is the only way I can wear it that I don't look like a 45 year old. Counting the days til I can buzz it again.

Rob - link to the tie in that fabric. Really nice stuff. EDIT: nevermind - found it. Sold out.

Spoo - well played good sirt. Where this be at?

Is that "Wow! I forgot what life was like without kids, this is fun!" or "Wow! This place is beautiful!", lol

Wow, nothing like following Caribbean Spoo, and NYI....great stuff fellas. Poof is all jackenheimered right now. Tie is a recent purchase. Petronius 1926, this thing is amazing and I don't think it was ever worn prior to today. Have a great weekend all.

Eh? Apologies mate - I always thought you were about 45! Must have had a tough paper round! happy.gif

Spoo - love everything but he shoes. Never seen anyone in a blazer when I've been in a beach holiday. There's a quote from one of the Bond books (Thunderball?) where he's dressed I. His usual navy suit in the Bahamas. "His only concession to the tropics was a pair of open Todd leather sandals"!!

For some reason, the burgundy dotted tie with that gray windowpane SC doesn't quite come together IMO. Can't put my finger on why, though.

Thanks fellas. Org - that brown jacket is actually Polo, not RLPL. Funnily enough, I think I've now sold off all (?nearly all) my RLPL jackets/suits, but kept this Polo jacket. It's one of my favourites. The grey jacket/dotted tie look is my least favourite out of the 4 pics posted today too. I wasn't sure whether the pale lilic, burg & beige shades of the shirt/tie/trousers would clash with the more saturated blue in the jacket check & square. In hindsight, it does a bit. A softer toned jacket (or a solid grey rather than one with a check) would probably have blended in better. I wonder if that's what you're picking up too.

I like this in theory, but find the white stripe on the neck of hte jumper overly distracting from the overall look. Love the texture of it all though.

The shoes are perfect for this kind of laid-back summery vibe. Enjoy!
