It's one of my favorite SC's/suit jackets. I actually had the pants first, but I liked the fabric so much that I had a jacket made. Generally I think I'll use them as odd jacket and odd trousers, but when the fancy strikes me it can transform into a suit!

Yup. It's my favorite tie. I messaged David a while back and he's not ruled out the possibility of a burgundy grenadine with woven stripes (maybe cream?). That would be...dreamydrool.gif

gracias. Besides...uhhh...oxford cloth shirts, pocket squares, a number of tie options (especially Sam Hober), patch pockets have been my favorite thing that SF has given me.

It's gotta be me. Some of those jackets are bespoke, others OTR then altered. So yeah, it's me or the camera angle. The tripod only goes so high (placing the focusing point on navel level). If I adjust the camera angle a bit and drop to my knees, perhaps that might do something.

Shirt sleeves. Also, if your wore some lighter brown shoes, it would elevate this to next level shit! :)

Clags, that's a great jacket. It fits you great, and I like the button stance much better than your normal jackets.

Light (or bright) tie paired dark jacket/suit is very difficult to pull off. I'm not sure any of these really work in that regard for me. It's a look I like in theory, especially as it's nearly Spring (despite the lack of any springlike weather in my neck of the woods) but it's damn difficult to do well. When it brightens up more here, I'll try a few such looks to, but I do find them hard to coordinate. Using something else that's consistent in lightness with the tie (as the looks above do) helps, but I don't think is the whole story to making it work, but will have to ponder more to figure out what else exactly it is I think is needed.

What colour are the trousers? Dark brown? They look nice, but it would be good to see them in normal sunlight to see whether they really contrast well with the jacket. Having bottom half in dark shade vs a brightly lit top half makes it tricky to figure out whether the contrast between the two halves is enough or not. Anyway, I'm sure we'll see them again in the future, to be able to tell. They look like they fit you very well.

if you look directly at where the sun shines on my crotch uhoh.gif you can see the color of the pants, and the contrast pretty well. they are chocolate brown.

you will certainly see them featured here again. and thanks, i agree, i think the fit is superb. cheers.gif
