Synchronicity is always fun. smile.gif Some of the stuff I am wearing is actually authentic - the frock coat, for example. The waistcoat was made by my wife to a C19th pattern, as was the cravat. The shirt and the hat are mid-C19th reproductions from Darcy Clothing. The cane and moustache wax are from a slightly eccentric neighbour (he's a drill sergeant in the Canadian forces with a fearsome waxed moustache!). What I really want are some proper side-buttoned C19th style boots. There are a couple of Parisian makers who still do them, but at a ridiculous price, and vintage men's boots of this kind are hard to come by... anyway, next week I will be doing New York in the 1920s / 30s, so it will be full heavy 3-piece and fedora time. I won't be able to do this as well as Tibor, who has got this down...

As previously suggested, I have now had my trousers slimmed, and the seat taken up.
I will get some new pictures of the slimmed down trousers. Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

this is one of your best, imo.

SVB - awesome wedding pic. congrats.

Clap, you're quite the tall gent, so for the tail of the skinny end of that tie to be that long, that tie must measure...??

Also quite the skinny gent - 15" collar might compensate!

(Looking good, Clap - you do get some great pics.  Maybe a PS missing?  If you're going minimalist smart, then maybe a narrow white slash would still add some sharpness?)

I was going to claim for a full shoto of the suit, until I saw all the spoiler photos. Fantastic suit!

Thanks, guys! The pose has distorted the fit quite a bit. I clearly need a tripod and a remote activator.

I know man, I need to get my SC collection above one. By the way, how are the bruises healing up? Your cleft was pretty banged up.

Posting outfits here is not about rules or the way YOU LIKE IT. It's what you are wearing right now , not how ugly it is. And many of you that comment so harsch on everyone, post even worse outfit then the guy himself.

Instead of being rude, try to see the good things about the outfit. Something new, fresh, someone who dares to go the other way.

Said like a "true" gentleman. I was shocked by the tone of some of the comments. Some would have you believe that clothes maketh the man, I have obviously been mistaken shog[1].gif
