IMO The tie is the problem here, you say it is navy, I say that it needs to be a lot darker navy.. However if it were my outfit, I would go with a medium to dark green or grey tie.

True, but on balance I don't have a problem with that. In theory. The problem is that they don't have the squad strength to support such a technically-intensive, patient style. You need a ridiculously high quality defence & midfield to create speed, movement & space if you play like this (viz. Barca/Spain, and even then it helps to have someone capable of magic at the front). With their current squad, Arsenal can't maintain the precision & imagination necessary for 90 minutes. And so they end up leaking more goals when someone hits back.
I'm not a believer in spending your way to footballing success, but some strengthening throughout the squad, and especially down the spine, is needed to enable them to keep playing this style. Either that, or adopt a different style. Wenger will never do the latter, so if he stays (and I don't see anyone available who's better, unless Mourinho could be persuaded), then the board need to let him spend some serious money this summer. The new FIFA fair play rules should actually work in the Gunners favour on this, as they're one of the few clubs to run the business side very tidily.
The new jacket's fabric is great, and it suits you too I think. The whole look has a nice feel to it IMO.

a little better lighting than yesterday..

This looks great. Even the unrelated square somehow works for me, though I'd prefer it as a loosely pointed fold, given that it is essentially a random component in this look, so why not accept that and make a feature of it instead of half-heartedly pushing it down into the pocket. The very classic shirt/tie/jacket combination gives you a little room to be crazy elsewhere if you want.
To be honest with you there is not much I like about this outfit even though I am the one who put it together. You are right about the tie though. It was advertised as navy but I too was surprised by how light it looks IRL.

The good doctor has pretty much summed up my thoughts on this. Alternatively, a gdl-esque fold-n-stuff might work, too.

might try a more orang-ey orange, next week.
Fair enough. That is pretty awesome, I need to find me a tie like that.
I really like black/white ties with blue. I am always wanting to wear my wedding tie (shepherd check) whenever I am wearing a navy suit, but I try not to do it too often
