Sorry for the blurring. I also know my pents are a bit too wide..
I think the skull cufflinks add an appropriate little touch to this dark outfit. Put me in mind of those old Prussian cavalry battalions that wore all black outfits (someone will probably remind me of the name soon; I think they started under Frederick, but were still around during the Napoleonic era).
The duffle looks fantastic; source?
Whenever I try on a duffle coat, I look like a hobo... :(
Screencap or gtfo. :p
Nice outfit. I think with a slightly paler blue, it would work even better. The blue is a little too dark/lilacy, at least in the pics.
Last new item this week that you haven't seen before. Another bespoke jacket from Ede (same pattern as the new one I posted earlier this week, but in a different colourway):
I had a few extra minutes before leaving home, so took a few robopose fit pics too. Apologies for the slightly dodgy (RTW) trouser fit, and for not quite managing to stand straight-on to the camera, but I thought the jacket fit might be interesting anyway. I don't propose it as an exemplar of perfect fit (I don't really think such a thing exist) or a case for emulation (we all like different styles and, for example, SF likes a shorter sleeve length), merely a fit that I am personally very happy with and part of the reason I like Ede and keep returning to them. I suppose I could have removed wallets, phones, etc from the pockets first, as well, but hey, I'm lazy. And besides, if they're there during the day anyway, the jacket should be able to cope with them.

Great jacket Holdfast!
It's from Topman but I've already had it for a couple of seasons so wouldn't know if you can buy it from them. TBHWY I am surprised that they came up with something so close to the classic look (well apart from the fitting I suppose) because it has wooden toggles and no lining which makes me look kinda slim :D
I agree!
Holdfast: Looking great today as well!
Thanks, I am ashamed regarding the apartment... A lot of work ahead over the week end
Well it's not only the picture to be fair. The roped shoulder is more pronounced than I'd have liked it. The tailor let his tastes speak a bit too much for my tastes. I thought I'd get used to it but since I've got a narrow chest, it certainly looks quite substantial. They might have looked more normal and a thinner fabric but this one is a 350gr wool and that doesn't help the impression of having too much rollino

Holdfast, that jacket cloth looks amazing, but there seem to be some fitting issues with the shoulders and hips. If this was MTM I'd think the fit is awesome, but being bespoke, specially after several commissions, I feel extra picky. Shoulders are not perfect, though quite good - but the gaping vents are something I would not expect from bespoke. I guess you're still in the process of getting those sorted out?
I feel your pain with RTW trouser fit, in fact when looking at your robopose I've noticed we have quite similar physiques.
