Yeah, I'm just being a jerk. Truth be told, I am just the same - shirts go straight to laundry every time, even if barely worn and despite my always wearing an undershirt. But then I'm also fortunate that someone else does my ironing!
ToF thx, and perhaps you're right, but as wiser men than me have pointed out many times in these pages, the trouble with the DW is that it looks a. like a coconut, or b. too symmetrical and contrived

I think a DW on a fat, shiny pink tie, is the mark of a prize dick. But if your tie is a little thinner and more muted, I don't see why not. I find a regular windsor is as big a knot as anything normally needs though. As for symmetry, it's a matter of taste, but I go both ways on that: I think it would look neat to have a tidy triangle with that collar; I normally only go FIH/DFIH if the look is a bit more casual e.g. a knitted tie and sports jacket. For less fat symmetry, then a single/half windsor or Pratt/Shelby maybe? For me it's all about which tie I've got on, they all seem to work differently.
