Twenty minutes left for this to count as WIWT.

SB how wide is that knit tie? Looks huge, is it just the photo?

what most people who condemn white shirts seem to neglect in my opinion is that the colour and complexion of one's skin also plays an important role. sure there are certain tie and/or suit instances where a pale blue shirt would have been more favourable over white, but equally important to me is the skin. white shirts with tan skin looks terrific.

+1. That's my reason for no longer wearing them except once a fortnight or so. They wash out a pale, Nordic complexion.

My favourite jacket from Schlasbergs (1970´s). My fathers wool tie from the 50´s. He was a teacher and used it as his "sport tie" when he was skating or skiing with the children. From Bröderna Andersson, Borås. New moleskin trousers from Glengarnock

^^^ Really cool tie! It looks great even after all those years behind it.

Dickey's and Tits? You two need to behave!

Have I ever said that IRL? With my elocution - NOT.

Need to behave? You need to take your mind out of the gutter, sir! smile.gif

The button stance is too high for you and cuts you in a strange place. Secondly, the socks are awful.

Today's choices are simple to the point of severity, but I need a change on occasion from my usual over-the-top style. As it is, I've not worn today's suit in about a year (according to the dry cleaning tags) - happy that it still seems to fit.

Suit - BB GF
Shirt -Tyrwhitt
Tie - JAB
Cufflinks - Metropolitan Museum of Art
PS - Robert Talbott
Shoes - Harris, via Barney's NYC
Overcoat - BB
Scarf - Aquascutum
Hat - Selentino

About 3.5", and it has a pointy end, too. (I know, I know. That's what she said...)

Same outfit as a few hours ago. But now I am going out in the cold winther. So I have put a 2:nd hand cotton slipover from Gant on.

I'm not a particular fan of a plain blue shirt either, for those of us who are blessed with underarm sweat; they're unwearable most of the year.
