Ha, thanks. The Super Bowl is tomorrow and the office I work in is also home to an educational institution. The students declared last week "spirit week", with each day being a different theme day. Thursday was twin day. Friday was team day (which team do you support?), etc. Except Thursday, I dressed normal the rest of the week, lol.

Yeah, I guessed it was about the Super Bowl (I actually watch a bit of American footy from time to time, believe it or not!); it was the "spirit week" part of the sentence that threw me! We don't have that concept here.
Especially not if one is a Chelsea supporter today...
^ I'm watching Final Score on the telly while browsing here; Garth Crooks put his head in his hands when the Magpies scored the winner. You'd think a former Spurs player would be happy to see Chelsea dropping points! Anyway, I lol'ed too. Arsenal squeezed a winner past Stoke, so I'm happy. Your lot are walking away with the title though, it seems. Again. Grr... ;)

I am a) settling in for the next game, on the home side - more in hope than optimism, especially given the absence of Prince Dimitar.
and b) reeling in wonder that there is a discussion of football going on in this thread.
I was glad to see Arsenal win too - I respect the way they go about things. And I'd rather United got the title than City...but no points today!
Anyway, as I'm sure this whole thing is anathema to 90% of SF-ers, here is a picture of a nice pair of socks. They are wonderful.

Yeah, it would take a fairly monumental collapse from here on out for you not to win it. Still, the final day of last year's season proved that miracles do occasionally happen.
I also vaguely follow my local - much lower division - side; on a good day, they also try to play some proper football and move it about, using pace to create openings. I like that attitude to the game. They're even more inconsistent than Arsenal at the moment though, lol. I wouldn't say I'm a massive footy fan by any means, but I do enjoy the odd game here & there and vaguely follow the game. There's a few SFers in that boat IIRC. For example, NewYorkIslander will argue with you re: City!

Casual with my only current jeans, bespoke sweater jacket, handsewn Saint Crispin's belt and random accessories. Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
Deets on those jeans, please!!!

Are those dark jeans, paired with smart trainers of some sort? I can't quite make them out in the photo. Anyway, I think they go great with the tweed coat, but not so much with the shirt/tie/square. More casual shirt, +/- a jumper as well, and no square, and this would rock. Still, as I paired a more formal shirt/tie with more casual other stuff yesterday, I can't really cast aspersions in this case, can I? :)
yes indigo jeans but no to the trainers. those are brown nubuk chukkas with a crepe sole.
coincidently both items worn in this fit, too:
Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)care to share the mystery bespoke optometrist with a fellow kraut? I'm currently looking into getting custom sun glasses and am tending towards Tom Davis after seeing his work.
Härtel/Brahm
I had this made without pockets, that's how it looks without hand in there...not that different.
