Thank you for the feedback. I'm not a big fan of yellow ties but I kind of like this one. Glad you like the ensemble.

I think I picked the wrong pocket square. Any thoughts on this?

I like your ("anachronistic"!) city look, but this softer style really suits you.  That's a great suit and the ensemble is very pleasing.

I think maybe because the jacket has such a strong pattern, the multitude of colours are just too jarring, and the green is a harder shade than everything else, it just doesn't join in.  I think you might try a mid to dark blue; a paisley or floral might work if it's shades of blue rather than multi-coloured.  Alternatively, maybe a coloured border on a white PS - would give you some options on colour choice without fighting your awesome jacket.  Plain white is safe and would totally work here, but it's nice to be original eh?

Never mind - you're surely still the best dressed dude in Dubai.

Yeah, the green is a bit deep for the rest of it. I glanced at my white linen PS this morning and said "Eh, maybe." but in an instant I decided to go with green. I think a bit more reflection would work next time lol.

As for Dubai, if you don't wear a pink silk tie here you are just not with the "in" crowd.

This is where I was going with this. Was wondering if I would be desecrating some shoes to the point of getting banned. But apparently I'm not alone. Their toecaps are terrible. If you notice, every time someone comments about your shoes being too small for your feet, its with these toecaps. The shape just doesn't fit your foot right.

But, of course, take this with a grain of salt from a guy who has never posted a pic in here. Other than the shoes, I quite enjoy the stuff you put in here

I think a darker colored square, in green or even navy, would work better. Not sure if white linen would be that great; a little too harsh contrasted with the other colors in the outfit.

Thanks for the comment on my posting today, and the type of gentleman to which you refer above, when not in Dubai, haunts the lounges of five-star hotels in London - you have indeed hit the nail upon the head!

no worries, but i think objectively saying the toe caps are terrible is a bit much. perhaps what you mean to say is that you dont like them. plenty of other people do. also, regarding the pics, remember that bending over to get a close shot of the shoes, my feet will always slide forward, giving the shoes the impression that its tighter than it really is.

anyhow, glad you enjoy my fits, thanks for the feedback and the compliment!
