I like this but the PS is not helping the outfit. I would also prefer a tighter knot. The tie is on the slim side for the lapels.

Although I'm a fan of the light blue SF-standard, I've no issue with a white shirt, even with a country look: the overall effect then becomes a bit Edwardian - sturdy, but still rather formal. With your "hard three"*, that effect is even stronger. I like it, but agree with Anden: that PS doesn't really know what it's doing; try something interesting or keep the theme and give us a thin sliver of white linen. Also, this country-stiff look (I'm copyrighting that) needs a staid, manly tie knot. If there were ever a time for a HW...

*never mind - I've heard it's not such a big deal if your girlfriend is Asian...

I was on the fence about the PS. Was white linen at one point (definitely looked odd) and blue (a little better). Decided to go with the gray wool herringbone because...dunno...it felt like it would be in between the tie color and the shirt color. If I had had a creme silk I would've gone with that. Overall, I'm happy with my PS selection.

Not happy with the knot. That's from a line of SFA cashmeres that I always struggle with knotting. It is, however, a HW.
