I'm sorry, Professional Candidate Santorum is not going to have time to field questions about his views on homosexuality.

No, I'm referring to the square itself. Linen takes a fold, silk does not.

Not to be too semantic here, but if something can be folded, does it not "take a fold"? It may not take a crease or be rigid, but there it is, folded.

You are being more semantic than you need to be, yes.

Silk takes a fold very poorly. There. Jeezus.

What I'm trying to get you to acknowledge is the role of your expectations in this. When you fold a hank, you want to see crispness, sharpness, rigor. But another person's expectations may be different, or they may embrace the very properties you find abhorrent.

Of course my expectations play a role. The question is how well-informed you think my expectations are versus others'.

Not all silk lacks body. The Rubinacci-esque silks do look terrible folded to me. But many of the Vanda kimono silks have a lot of body and stiffness and actually wear well as a fold IMHO.

foo.gif, as often, is right. Annoying, yes, but right. I'm an expert at that myself.

I was thinking the same thing. And that was also the example that came to mind.

As you indirectly acknowledge, there is no platonic ideal fold/puff (thus your assertion that there are no rules of which you're aware), so there's really no information behind your expectations other than your preferences.

^Why'd you decide on a blue instead of a white shirt?
