I don't think that jacket looks 70s... I'd wear that.

Not sure about the outfit as a whole, but definitely nothing wrong with a 3-patch grey herringbone tweed (or looks tweed-y, anyways) coat.

An Original Montgomery Duffle. They claim to be the oldest maker of duffles in Great Brittain.

The outfit as a whole is dated, but I think it's the tie and trousers that are doing that. The coat is going to get a lot more wear than either of those.
