Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

J Press slim fit shirt is fairly slim. More so than a Brooks Bros slim.

Deets on the suit....I am guessing it was thrifted, but is it vintage? That is one hell of a look...I bet you got a lot of compliments today.

Thanks man...yes, thrifted and vintage. Made in the '60s, I think.

timo, i love your style, you know that, and the colors in the top half are great, but im not feeling the gray on blue so good, not because i dont like gray on blue, i love it. just these you have seem to be really close in color, but not a suit.

unless the picture is not really getting the colors right, or my screen brightness is off, or all the drugs are messing my vision. any or all of those are certainly possible.

Nice work, gentlemen. Stitch, I love your tie.

^^ Tie knot seems just a touch bit small considering the lapels of the jacket are so wide.  The color combo is great though!

Those are some serious lapels there, Axel!

Thanks, I agree about the tie. Tie is Panta and while the quality is great, it is by far my most challenging to tie. Something about the unlined lightness and the very smooth silk.

Axelman Nice work! Seen quite a few outfits from you lately that really suits my taste.

Timotune As mentioned by many already, great improvement the past weeks! However todays outfit is the one I like the least of those.

Orgetorix I must agree with the positive feedback regarding that gray suit of yours. Several other nice contributions from you as of late too.

I had the same tie and would resort to a half Windsor + Prince Albert frankenknot.

Still didn't look quite right.

Printed silks really do need a tighter not due to the smoothness of the silk, otherwise they just get loose throughout the day. Most "un-lined" ties do still have a light lining at the knot area for a bit of shape and still manage to remain very lightweight as the silk is usually lighter and less stiff. Whether Ed's do or not I don't know. I've always found printed silk a lot easier to tie and more dimple friendly once I started cinching the knot in a bit more.
