The suit is black with a copper tone pin stripe. I only have one pair of black shoes and they are in desperate need of sole work but looking at the picture I posted I can see what you mean. Noted! I will definitely youtube some PS folds. This one was done by my GF... (I know... I've learned my lesson).

I couldn't get the camera to focus with the self-timer, but here's what I had today anyway.

I've done this combo a few times before but I like it. Don't think I'll be able to get a whole lot more wear out of this or my other flannel suit since it doesn't really fit very well and I doubt my shoulders are going to shrink in size any time soon. Didn't notice the knot until I took pics and too lazy to bother fixing it.

^This is just killin it. Hands down one of the best fits posted in a while - pretty much perfect. Coat may be a little short, but it fits the overall aesthetic.

Another Monday morning - threatening rain sometime today, but with seasonal temperatures, so no hat, coat or scarf - hurrah!

FWIW, and have at it, iGents . . .

I have a pair of trousers in a similar shade getting hemmed at the moment, so I'm taking notes on possible combos. Nice one.

Overall, fine, if a little dark for Easter.

Would be improved by: black shoes, checking the trouser length is correct (difficult to be sure from photo). I don't mind the pocket square fold, but in conjunction with the black suit and brown shoes, it creates a somewhat late-90s/early-00s vibe to the pic.

Hmm, that's a lot. I like the concept, but would need a full length pic to judge. Perhaps going tie-less and with a plain white shirt might have been better ?

Aviators are totally dependent on a person's facial structure. On some people they're brilliant; on others (like me) they're awful. They're a cool classic style, it's just not one for everyone.

I like the very tonal look you've created. Good for spring weather, plus it happens to sync nicely with the background blossom.

Details on the shoes and jacket?

Digmenow, don't take this personally, but this fit is all kinds of awful. The trousers are too big for you, and at least 2" too long (although I think you recognize they are too big, so don't hesitate, buy some new ones, today); the colors are all reminiscent of autumn, very drab, and then boom, the blue shoes.
