What I like about Malford's coat is the pronounced keystone arrangment of the buttons. Most peacoats I've seen either have a fairly vertical alignment or only the top one or two rows signficantly displaced laterally, giving them an informal somewhat bulky look. The keystoning gives the coat a much sleeker/formal profile. Nice one; very cool.

 

Still not back in suits... there's an ecru shirt and grey v-neck under the scarf morass, by the way.

 

 

Not crazy about the shirt, but the rest is nice. How do you find the camel hair compared to cashmere? Soft? Warm?

I knew the shirt would be the biggest issue you guys have with the fit, but I'm tired of white or blue shirts at the moment and wanted something more colorful today.

The camelhair, on this SC, is not nearly as soft as cashmere, but is very warm. It's not a particularly high-end coat so I'm sure the quality of camelhair reflects that.

I like those shoes, Irate.

I spotted those headphones on the BBC the other night. They were reporting on how Harris Tweed is having a bit of a resurgence in popularity (especially among modern designers / makers).

They also showed a range rover model with Harris Tweed upholstery and a boutique hotel with HT sofas.

 

They're hilarious; well done!
