Lets see some photos with your jacket on, you shaved, and an improved haircut. I think you would strike them dead. It will be a gem.
thankf for you knid words i didnt shave as my razor broke so went out to replace , i havent had a haircut as my usual person is a way so will be getting it done next week . The shirt is actually an attached collar .

In regards to the fit, get a better tie (wider, at least), and sort out the pocket square, so it isn't such an awkward shape--tuck it in a bit more. Can't really see anything in terms of fit, so post a full body.

Bright colored knits are pretty hard to wear out of a season. I realize it's not as bright as the picture shows, but looks to be at least an air force blue.

I think I would have done something in the way of a navy blue neat pattern tie, if you want to be more casual than possibly a wool or cashmere tie.

Okay, so how would that knit tie be nice with? I would love some tips.

Navy suits with white shirts almost always call for a grey or silver tie of sorts.

Olive or grey plain weave linen suit in the spring, or olive/brown spring/summer sportcoat for that tie.

Suit looks grey to me.

Hampton, can you clarify the colors for me?

If it is grey than I agree with your recommendations.

Navy blue. So a grey tie with maybe black socks would have been better?

Could a grey cashmere tie be used to this outfit?
