Yes, It is my fault, I was in a hurry and tried to conceal it with outerwear rather switching into my Evening Dress. I have seen it done in movies and pictures but the reason they were correct and I was wrong is they went to events during the day, and did not go home and change. I was went home to change quickly and was lazy. I was lucky to get away with it.
Thankfully the formal wear police were on shift change.
I was far too excited to smile. My girlfriend asks me afterward, "Who the hell did I just take a picture of with you?" and all I could do was just shake my head and say "If only you knew, if only you knew."

Hello my friend. I like the overall color pallete and general look you are expressing. The pocket square would have much greater affect if it were to only be in a jacket. I know personally that you are a true gentleman so a good shave and haircut would further display the good man that you are. Nice collar bar with lovely detachable collar. I know next time you can center that tie with a bit more pronounced dimple. Lets see some photos with your jacket on(pocket square), you shaved, and an improved haircut. I think you would strike them dead. It will be a gem.
Yeah, those are bad as well. "Hey! you like to laugh?!?!" "$#%& you."
I usually say, "yup!" then point at them and go AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAAAAAHHH! and walk away and at about three of four paces I turn around and say, "thank you". It usually embarrasses and amuses my wife simultaneously. "You're so mean", she'd say. And I'm all like, "at least I didn't smack the tickets or clipboard of of their hand" and go back to my usual gangster.
