Aren't you a part time police officer? Probably best not to send out death threats to a simple drunk on the internet then...

I worked as a public saftey officer patrolling public property and enforcing the califorina penal code system for a semi-public managment corportation that administers my community of Little Italy. I was never a peace officer just an enforcer sometimes in uniform for my nieghbohhod Little Italy as the DA, SDPD, the local Sicilians, Neapolitans and Chaldeans gave me the go ahead to do what it takes to keep our community safe and my salary was paid by the local Catholic Church: Our Lady of the Rosary.

No, it's merely that we're all having male PMS on the same cycle. We'll get tired of being crochety - eventually . . . .

I like this new bloodthirsty WAYWRN.

You can always tell when the american election process is ramping up again.

... by the way, as I recall, the Greco-Roman wrestling soon gave way to your more dynamic luchador style. All glories fade...

Good morning gents

Interesting outfit. There are several elements I dislike, largely for irrational reasons (the tie, the turnback cuffs), but the outfit as a whole looks professional and put together with care. That's a neat trick to pull off.

I've lost some weight, and new trousers are definitely in the plan. I'm not a skinny guy, though, with a fairly big butt and thighs. "Skinny" cuts don't work well for me. Can anyone recommend trim, but not-too-trim trousers I should try?

I have yet to try a pair of Epaulet's myself, but the company claims that its "Tapered Rudy" model is cut with guys like you in mind.

From the website:
The "Rudy" is similar to the "Walt" fit, but with more room in the thigh and seat. Typically, if you've got bigger thighs, then you have to choose between (1) pants that are too slim to be comfortable or (2) trousers with wide legs and large leg openings that are too baggy and completely swallow your shoes. The Rudy fit strikes the perfect balance with a slim waist, a slightly relaxed thigh and seat, and an elegant, graduated taper to a slim leg opening. If you're into things like cycling, competitive rowing, crossfit, or bodybuilding - and you have a hard time finding a trouser that's both comfortable and flattering - then these are the cut for you.

When provoked, I can call a spade a f**king d*ckless brain-dead spade - trust me, 32 years of living in Manhattan has given me full powers of F-bombs.

I love ya, Crusty, but I don't think you can rightfully claim "full powers of F-bombs" while, in the same breath, saying "f-bomb" in place of "****" and even declining to fully spell out the word. Just sayin'. :teach:

From last night to this morning, I had a change of heart as to what suit to wear, hence the mismatch of photos. Tonight is the members' reception for the newly renovated American Wing at the Met Museum.

Suit - BBGF
Shirt - BB
Tie - BB
Cufflinks - Niletti Creations, NYC
Shoes - Harris, via Barney's, NYC
Overcoat - BB
Scarf - Fortnum & Mason
Hat - Selentino

Love the tie, colors are nice, jacket looks too big, particularly in the shoulders.

Citan1145 ] "i really like this despite the shoulders being a bit big. Awesome mixing of textures (raw silk esp)"

"Looks OK to me. The jacket collar is loose & the lapel line long for your build but it's OK."
[quote="EFV said:
"What HF said"

Thanks for the feedback guys. I will see what can be done to tighten up the collar and shoulders. As for the lapel line, I doubt much can be done there.

I love everything about this, conservative with the right amount of edge and personality. Well executed.
