A navy suit with that shirt/tie combo would've been exponentially better. The pant leg could use some tapering, otherwise you legs look a little stumpy.

It looks a lot cleaner and for me personally it ruins my collars very quickly with all the friction happening.

thanks bud. as i said before, these pants are actually not that short, better pic here. i had hiked them up too high for the pic, and hadnt realized it.

i do agree though that the jacket sleeve (particularly the right one) should be shortened, just a matter of relinquishing the suit to the tailor. again.

re: neck hair. totally agree, im just too damn lazy. though now that you mention posible damage to my shirt, i may just summon the energy to do that more often.

Thanks! It's actually a light blue check shirt.

alright, try number two today with a better collar. I was a little iffy about the pocket square, but didnt have another option besides white... should i have gone without? also is it too quasi-monochromatic? only my second post, trying to get this suit stuff figured out.

Is the suit black with pinstripes? Most on here will not like the shoes.. might say they are clownish big looking..however I like the look overall..widh we could see the suit without the scarf to get a better view of the suit.. and I dont think the bag goes with the overall aesthetic of the look.. the color throws it off.. no matter what I like the look..

I can't make up my damn mind about trousers. For some reason, chinos and moleskins like these I'm wearing today look better in a slim cut, and I'm inclined to think that if they were flannel and draped properly they would look great; but then I try to wear slim dress trousers and they look like breeches, so I switch to a fuller cut... don't know what's wrong. I just wish my dress trousers would look like this (but without the knee wrinkles inherent to cotton pants, obviously)

White linen pretty much goes with anything. I really like jacket shoulders and the shirt collar, but you are going to have a hard time finding a jacket which pairs well with that shirt color. The tie color also doesn't help any. You have gray on blue-gray and geometric blue-gray.

Diaz, the jacket is beautiful. The pants do seem tight.

Something relatively relaxed for a Friday in the holiday season. Please note that I fully acknowledge that I am violating the "no loafers with a suit" law, and that my PS is too matchy-matchy with my tie.

Suit - BB Fitzgerald
Shirt - Tyrwhitt
Tie - Aquascutum
Cufflinks - Benson & Clegg, London
PS - no name brand
Shoes - BB Peals
Overcoat - Adolfo
Scarf - Barney's
Hat - Selentino

Much better. The collar fits you perfectly now and the tie knot is very well knotted. I would change the shirt color with that jacket and tie, white or lighter color to avoid the gloomy effect.

No particular reason really, it's been sitting in the back of the tie-rack - needed some use before it collected more dust wink.gif
