I just got a Ermenegildo Zegna "soft" suit, which I should have back from the tailor in a few days so I have something that you guys may appreciate a bit more.

Its not real good.

to make it better, I would have ditched the vest and went with a sport coat. Also, wear a v-neck undershirt. That looks like a woven belt, which is just bad.

Not a big fan of the shirt/tie combo, I'd go with some brighter colours. It's a bit too matchy.

you need to rethink your pose, H. you seem to sticking out you stomach area, and pulling back your shoulders. it throws off how your clothes probably actually fit, imo. just a friendly tip, buddy.

Real vintage this time. Suit: Granditer´s, Canning Town, London 1940´s. Shirt with "Acetonized" collar 1940´s. Tie: Organsin Simba by Rhodia, France 1940´s.

Albert, how do you date all your clothes?

In this case, the full look suits you well imo.  Have you considered having the trousers you have on taper .5' @ the knee and cuff?  Should not affect the trouser much with regard to your hips.

Look good either way, dig it.

Yeah, fuller pants. After trying more tapered dress pants as suggested here, the result was a trainwreck, probably cause my hips are wider than most folks think. These are way more flattering IMO.
