A little less expensive, just lame boxes of Canali and Samuelsohn swatches.

I got a good dose of gentle ribbing for the tie this evening. I was told that it looked like a table cloth. Which it does. But it's also one of my favorite ties.

and the best pizza I've had in Asia (though it did not mix well with wine later in the evening frown.gif):

Crat, who makes the suit?
Crat, the shoes look nice because they are polished, but, IMHO, the shape is heinous! frown.gif The rest of the fit is spot on! smile.gif

Serious shirt-shoulders there, Cantabrigian! Looks good! Love that lapel...

^ Very nice tie. Don't like the shoulders and lapel width of the suit though. Your collar (which is also nice btw) seems to be wrinkled a little.

Alex, feel free to dislike the Arca's shape. Personally, its my favourite shoe when it comes to elegance.

There doesn't seem to be any way around a little wrinkling with those. I dislike fused collars and this one is very soft. Definitely some ripples but hopefully not too unkempt looking IRL.

Ah, that explains it. Its hardly noticeable anyway so no worries. : )

Thanks Scott.
Oh, I should mention that I am pulling my trousers up a bit to show the socks' colour. The trousers aren't as short as on the 'shoe' pic.

Know how I know you're not from NY/NJ? Wine and pizza is a staple dinner.

I love the look of traditional unfused collars. I switched recently and got 20 shirts made with unfused cuffs and collars. I always instruct my tailor to put in some layers of fabric for some heft, though. I won't go back to fused collars.
