If it's any consolation, I'm not very happy with how the shirt collar turned out either shog[1].gif The shirt will be relegated to casual use only, from now on.

Having a quick look through this thread, I'm guessing turn ups on trousers are big in the US then. They're a bit 1990's for me. I'd best make sure I stock up on suits in the UK before I move out to Cali in a couple of months.

? Trousers come unfinished, you can put a cuff on them or not...

If trousers come cuffed, it's dead easy to remove them. If it's the other way around, there's often no enough extra material left to make a proper cuff.

Also why would you think that cuffs are more common in the US ?? uhoh.gif

Shawl lapel SCs... Hm. Next big thing? One never knows.

Got a chance to take a nicer picture today. And more elegant too I suppose :)

Still struggling with this casual thing (you'll note a lot of my tie/shirt/jacket combinations have uneven levels of formality). Formal suiting is so much simpler. Buy a suit, have it tailored by someone who knows what they are doing, wear a conservative shirt and soporific tie. But introduce jackets with patterns...scary stuff for me.

Also, the shirt is pink, not white. ADJUST YOUR DAMN MONITOR STITCHY!
