Which is now empty since I think Spoo "won" the closet raid poll.

Sartoria Ripense for everything except the tie

Pliny, the colours on this last fit are clashing badly to me for some reason. The PS is specially lost in the mix, I know you wanted it to be subdued but it's so dark it's fighting with the jacket. Just my 2 cents smile.gif

^^^  I hear you.  bathroom pic don't help neither.  shog[1].gif  funny tho, I was worried bout the blue and green

I did not know they even made black button down shirts...maybe digmenow can give us some insight on this...

I think blue and green are clashing too, maybe if the shirt was a sky blue gingham instead of royal/navy, it would have worked much better smile.gif

Today, I'm wearing this jacket as a 6x1 - not sure if it works or not.

Not sure why it always looks like navy flannel in the detail pics; it's actually a smooth worsted.

It's not the coat which is OK. It's the tie and PS. This tie, IMO, would work very well with a grey suit. To my eye, it sticks out too much on this blue coat. The PS, both color and pattern, clash with the tie and the coat. That is an interesting PS, but it is tricky to coordinate. All good stuff--but maybe not in this combination.

Thanks for the feedback, CP. The "clash" between tie and PS was sort of intentional, I tried to do complementary colors (green and red). Maybe it's the yellow what's throwing things off, would like to hear more opinions on this respect. I definately agree on the tie being a bit too loud for this coat, though - if I had a medium to dark brown cashmere tie this would have been the perfect outfit for it, I think. That and a blue shirt - but my only good fitting, non-OCBD blue shirt died under the iron yesterday frown.gif

Have fun without me, and keep up the good postings.

You and your fits will be missed! Have a good trip.
