Yes. Fits you well. Really well done 3 piece. Wish the picture was better/closer so I could better see the shirt/tie. But very nice nonetheless.

Thanks Kai.. I should have.. will do next time... the shirts is a white shirt with subtle blue stripes and the tie is a navy tie with white micro dots if that helps, lol

He won't ruin the shoes, but wet soles are more prone to incorporating little stones and all kinds of stuff into themselves. Of course I doubt he will have trouble resoling them when the time comes tounge.gif

Heading out to a couple bars not far from the office to watch the election so I decided to ditch the tie..

Suit: Three piece Zegna (Slim Roma fit)

Tie:  Calvin Klein

Shirt: Thomas Pink

Shoes: Cordwainer

Looks great, although, I'd either 1. taken of the west when undoing that many buttons on the shirt, or

2. Just unbutton the first 1-2 buttons. Right now, it just looks weird.

In my defense once I got to the bar I took the jacket off ..I really wore it outside walking to the bar from work..so I see what you are saying.. thanks for the compliment and the insight though!

Love the tie and the watch, but as some have pointed out, this is the absolutely largest size you should wear. I think the suit is okay, but I think the pants would definitively look a lot better if they would be one size slimmer(aka keep the length)

Great outfit, color and fabric wise, so please use a proper tie length... Please?

The tie. It's WAY too long. First of all, no one wants to see the short end of the tie, so hide that stuff somewhere. Secondly, you don't want the tip of the tie to extend below the top of the belt. Why? If it's too short, it looks sloppy, if it's too long, it gives the visual impression of an arrow pointing at your crotch. Not very flattering and just plain sloppy.

Love the outfit and the color combo, tie length, not so much. That should be an easy fix, though.

Nice look all round, but I'm curious: is the overcoat as plum-coloured as it appears here? Very unique colour. I like it, and hte fun gloves & scarf too. I like a bit of experimentation with colour/pattern in outerwear, generally.

Definitely a chill in the air now...

(PS. if the thread will forgive a little light spam, if anyone wants to buy the RLPL tweed suit in my sig, I'm open to reasonable offers! :) )

Having the suit and pants in the same material is usually no problem, it this case though, given that it's such an "active" material, seems to be a questionable choice. I'd never wear it, but whatever makes you happy :D

As a side note, How short are you guys that you when you tie your ties, thin end is the same length as the "business end"???I usually just end up with maybe 5-6 inches, and then the business end of the tie reaches the top of my belt.
