(I know that the jacket is short by conventional standards. And it has a high button stance and is slightly snug, but happened to be the last size in the store or online. It was purchased to be more casual, perhaps with jeans from time to time.)

Jacket length isn't egregious. I'd probably go no break on the trou, though, with such a slim silhouette.
