I admire the overall look. I personally find a wider shawl lapel would better compliment the overall aesthetic. I know I may be a little too traditional. Great approach.
Some very nice stuff has been posted recently, and I hope the rest will forgive me if in this regard, I particularly single out EFV, crusty, Fred, Victor and sb (the vivid p/s seems out of your usual range of choice, but works very well IMO).
First day of November, and properly chilly. And in contrast to my very stereotypical, SF-approved fit from yesterday, something more controversial today...

I've been posting some rather poor-quality, iPhone photos of my daily outfits over in the Australian Members' thread for the past month or two, but I thought that I'd summon up my courage and post in this thread for once, so here is a cross-post of today's outfit:

I'm posting my "daily fit" early today, as I'm busy for the rest of the day and the evening.
This is my final "OCBD week" post, but I cheated a bit as whilst this shirt has a button-down collar, it's made from poplin, rather than oxford cloth.
- Deer Style light wool summer suit in sand. The jacket has three patch pockets and buggy lining;
- Land's End light blue, gingham check shirt;
- Kent Wang/Gallo blue/brown bicolour knit tie;
- Herringbone light blue silk pocket square with white edging; and
- C&J (?) for RL Polo calf and canvas spectator double monks.
I like the pants alone
I like the vest alone.
I like the jacket and pants together
I like the pants and vest together.
For some reason, all three pieces worn together don't work for me.
Looking at all of the pictures from your style pro feature, I really liked every look other than the 3-piece looks. It may just be too much corduroy all together for me to process.
(and the shoes are sweet.)

I meant to post the full three piece a while ago

I just wish the lapels had a bit more oomph...
Thanks for comment

"Still loafer weather in Toronto?"
Still loafer weather in a car
But you're right I wasn't expect such a cold weather today.
Wow, I never would have thought that H&M would put something out like that, I'm a big fan. Thanks for the kind words, that suit is actually the first one that I ever purchased. I bought it on my 18th birthday.

"No, set a precedent right from the start with your PS. White TV no flowery over the top stuff."
Yeah, I debated it for quite a while, but decided to err on the side of caution. I will probably break one out tomorrow.

"You need to tighten your tie knot. The rest is sweet. What is that pin? A"
You may be right about the tie knot. That bottom one is made of pretty thick material though, so that may have something to do with it. The pin is a Marine Corps flag, I wear it with pretty much everything. That was the deal when I joined - they kick my ass, I get to wear the flag, haha.
