It is too high, the buttoning point. Nice colors, though.
Yes.
No.
(Longer: Pants are too long. Jacket is too long. Sleeves are too long. Shoulders too wide. Also, lens on full-length shot makes you look oddly two-dimensional and distorted in an Gumby-like fashion. EDIT: Are both buttons fastened on the jacket? Please, no.)
The pants have been altered for length already so I'm not so sure your right about them being too long. The sleeves, are absolutely too long, noticed that when I put it on this morning and they kept completely covering my sleeves. Are you sure about the shoulders? they run all the way to the end of the pad... and both buttons are DEFINITELY NOT buttoned lol. I know better than that. Thanks for the input, its much appreciated.

BTW, The lens is a wide angle so that's probably why it seems slightly distorted to you.

From one noob to another, in all charity:

1) The pants are too long-the back hem should be a couple of inches off the ground, not hanging over the heel and bunching up in front.

2) The sleeves are too long. I'd say they could be shortened by at least an inch-maybe more like two.

3) The two-button jacket should only have the top button buttoned. This applies to all two-button jackets currently residing in the Milky Way or neighboring galaxies.

4) Brown shoes (imho) would look better. It has been in vogue, for several years now, to wear brown shoes with just about everything. The shade of brown depends on the context, of course.

Also, the shoulders might be too big, but it's hard to tell from the photos.

Love the shirt/tie/suit color combination! Keep posting.

Thanks, I dont know why the pants appear that way... they are about an inch to an inch and a half off the ground on the back side.

The sleeves definitely need some shortening and the bottom button never gets buttoned, lol, I swear even though it doesn't look like it.

And thanks for the tip about the brown shoes, I didnt know I could use them with grays.

If you don't want to shorten the pants any more, for fear that your socks will be showing above your heel even when you stand (a valid concern), then try tapering the leg. If there is less fabric around the ankle, there will be less bunching. You want a clean line-you want to minimalize that break.

Here are some recent WAYWT pictures of grey with brown. Black is a formal color (or absence of color, really), and grey is definitely not formal. Play around with the color, texture, and style of the brown shoes.

Just saved those photos to my desktop at work for future reference. And I will definitely talk to my tailor about tapering the legs some. There is usually only 1 break in all my pants, looking back at that photo it does appear to be breaking like crazy and bunch up but I can't seem to replicate that here in the office... dunno lol.

Haven't posted in a while. It's too bad that waiters suck at taking pictures. Recent Vegas trip. First at Bouchon. Second at Abriya Raku Grill. If you're going to Vegas, I highly recommend the second place. It's off the strip and features authentic Japanese cuisine and a large assortment of Sake. Definitely among the top 3 Japenese restaurants I've been to.

Anything's possible in Vegas.

Oh, and I stopped by the Tom Ford store and daaaaamn, his stuff is beautiful and fits me perfectly. I was a little surprised to see that most of their pocket squares were machine stitched though.
