I don't get it.
I realize the tie is silk but in that pallette, it might as well be madras. Just doesn't go with a dark 3-piece pinstripe and a brown square.
I feel like that's a theme with a lot of what you post. Cotton trousers rolled up with a wool tartan vest. I understand the peacock thing (even if I don't like it) but I think you run into trouble when you mix seasons like that.
Tie is wool and has some brown in it, everything I'm wearing is wool except for the cotton shirt but I get what you're saying with some of my stuff.
I think the trousers are too long, but I think the width looks good. I think if they didn't bag as much they would drape better and look cleaner. The jacket looks slightly snug, maybe letting out the sides a bit could help. In the future I think a larger chest size woulld help the overall shape with tailoring. I would also opt for slightly wider lapels and maybe a 2 button, or a 3 hard roll 2.
Can't fault that advice. Well said. More contrasting pocket square too? Or might be the photo doesn't show it very well.
That placement of the tag in the photo is awesome. It, along with your facial expression, pose, and great suit fit, makes you look like a doll for sale.
IIRC, Despos convinced you to have your first bespoke suit out of this fabric. I was a bit surprised at the time and still am. It's not your typical "first suit" fabric and perhaps not even the second or third. It would be interesting to hear the thought process behind that choice. The suit looks very good, of course.
Who will join in posting quick pictures or links on twitter under hashtags #WAYWRN or #whatareyouwearingrightnow? Second hashtag is to explain to none forumees.
A lot of us use twitter quite a bit as is quick when moving about, as I do seeing clients, and have no time to go through forums but love seeing some good inspiration to the craft.
