Obviously tough to tell but it looks like that jacket fits nicely.

The shirt is blue. Colors in the first photo are more realistic. It's a grey day here today so the flash was needed and it washed out the colors and made the tie appear shiny (sorry, Black_Umbrella) in the second photo. It's tough in fall and winter to get good self-shots I'm finding.

You are to be commended, stitch. You've assembled a closetful of splendid pieces, and you've been demonstrating an excellent ability to coordinate patterns, textures, and colors. Kudos.

I don't think I'm alone in believing that your time and money would now be better spent working with an alterations tailor on fit.

Once again we wore the same outfit. Must be a grey-day uniform.

Ah ha. Good idea, didnt think of it. Would that be done by your man in Copenhagen, or do Cordings themselves do it? Never thought to ask.

By the way, are those the olive green? (Not lovat green)

thank you very much, TB, much appreciated. i am very happy with the direction my wardrobe has taken, and im glad that with lots of assistance, i can patch some good combos together. i have 1 more pair of shoes on the way (suede punch caps with a medallion), and 1 more pair of pants (brown flannel), and i think that at that point i will really have a great foundation to my wardrobe.

i could use to bring a few things to the tailor, i actually just got back 2 SCs and 4 pairs of pants. i have also lost some weight, which has made some previously well fitting jackets, a tad lose. i dont really love any local tailors here for nipping things in the waist, or near the armhole where there may be excess fabric. that means i have to go to DC to visit fields. it will take time, but i will get it done.

thanks again for the kind words. smile.gif
