I think Spoo has a "similar" SC from Hackett.

butler was inspired by spoos SC, so he had one made up for his own self! and wowowowow is that a suit. pics in the snow are amazing!!

And how about the green tie and the navy one from today? I'm looking for some patterns like this. gracias

no worries, CD. shoes are G&G MTO westministers, in vintage oak color.

yesterdays tie was panta, and today is e marinella. both make wonderful neats, as do drakes and capelli. check pantas site, and davesmiths website, exquisitetrimmings.com, he usually has some stuff too. also hober makes some great neats as well.

Gieves & Hawkes from Malford's store, IIRC.

You are indeed correct. I believe Spoo has an other SC from Hackett that also has a windowpane pattern.

Isn't a little creepy that we roughly know the contents of the closet of a random stranger on the interweb? patch[1].gif

Seems to be a little too much shine on that tie to work well with the tweedy herringbone.

Anyway, some awesome stuff in there. Very "Euro" with the tassel loafers, but looks great. Love the simple elegance of the watch too.

Not with that tie. Or with a watch that subtle.

I'm not big into the English country look but if I were, I'd love that. Seems to be a very good example of the genre.

Although I think that Burbon is right in his comments on the combination of colors.

Is the shirt blue or grey? I'm guessing blue but the color looks very different in the second photo.

I never realized exactly how much I dislike grey shirts until I saw that inadvertant comparison.

Obviously tough to tell but it looks like that jacket fits nicely.

I love this kind of look, Butler. Awesome. The same kind of look I try to achieve, but still failing miserably. lol8[1].gif

My first "Albert Hal" purchase: Chester Barrie half-canvassed jacket from the 1960's. Absolutely perfect condition (minus a small hole in the interior pocket...easily fixed).

The rest: BB tie, BR trou, light pink mtm shirt, AE captoe

Haven't been reading the thread for a couple of days or so, so apologies for only looking back a page or two just now.

Messing around with something a bit different today:

And actually, the same could be said of yesterday...

Although not so much for the day before that:

Spoiler-coding past stuff, so as not to make this post obnoxiously long. Obnoxious style is enough, you know... tongue.gif

Butler, I have some Cordings moleskins, but they done have belt loops. They look much better with a belt. Did they change at some point, from belt loop to no belt loop?

I agree wholeheartedly, I dislike the look of sideadjusters and have all my non braced trousers made with loops. The Cording moleskins (and cords) are great, built like a tank, and luckily threre is plenty of material in the unfinished legs (at least for pygmaes like your truly), to make loops out of! bigstar[1].gif
