Sheepy: What's the color of that jacket?

Fred: Sharp. Maker?

The square is not nearly that vibrant IRL. I guess the iPhone thought the photo could use a little pizzaz...

Shoes could use a shine

If there is a shine shop near you, go and get a shine. It feels like a foot massage.

Alas, no. I am in the uncivilized hinterlands. I'll be downtown tomorrow, though.

There seem to be a lot of folds and excess fabric all around. You should bring it to a tailor and have him give it the once over. I'm sure minor alterations would improve the fit a ton. The tapered, fitted appearance of the trousers only accentuates a boxier, baggier fit, and ruins any congruity within the fit.

I tend to agree.

I think that if you take the jacket in by the back seams just a little, you'd see a huge difference in terms of look.

And yea... show some cuff.

Tough to tell (clean moar / poast less ffffuuuu.gif ) but it looks like the lapel might be bowing out a little. At any rate, the upper chest / shoulders just strike me as a little too fitted.

I think you might find it's better to go one size up and then take in the sides a little more. The alteration on this one is good - the jacket has a little shape. But I think you'd feel more comfortable and look a little better if you had more room in the shoulders and could taper a little more easily to the waist.

Stitch, the contrast of big fitting jacket and very tapered slacks is too much That jacket needs a lot of tailor work. (Sleeves, chest)

Is that the Zegna you bought?

though i mentioned already, i think the jacket is not as bad off as it looks, but i have lost some weight and ill try and have the tailor nip the sides or back.

i would LOVE to show some cuff. generally, i love the look. but alas, my OCD doesnt allow it. trust me, i save hours in the day not messing with my cuffs.
