That is a genuine PRL tie. I hate to admit this, but BP on eBay is good on his word of genuine RL.

Anyone with decent understanding of the history of the brand would know they had bears on shirts, sweaters, bed sets, jackets, ties, polos, etc...

Hell, right now on the (official) Vintage (Japan) site they are selling a Teddy Bear wearing 'RRL' jeans...

So, yes its genuine, and yes its a tad silly, but nothing wrong with a little silliness now and then.

For those confused I should have been better on my post. I was going to a Halloween party as a British shooter. Very lazy of me, just opened the closet but hey, I was comfortable which is more than I can say for my pal in the Captain America get up.

I have a Viyella cotton/cashmere shirt that is a pleasure to wear. Does anyone know of other cotton/cashmere shirt brands? I know Robert Old sells some as well.

I own my tails, of course. I wear them twice a year so, buying a rig is money well spent compared to rental biggrin.gif

BB, oc cc mtm (abbreviate much?), HB, AE.

 

I have a love-hate relationship with the tie. From a distance it appears a solid rust color (which I like). Up close, it's orange and blue and plays merry hell with different light angles (which I'm less a fan of). And it's hard to match with. But it feels fantastic in my hand, so I keep it in rotation.
