So, how does a tab collar play in court? And are you saying a blue shirt is taboo for court?

(in any case, very cool look)

Butler, you're one of my favorite posters and this looks great. Not sure about that guy's bow in the back. Stripes? Your mom looks wonderful for 91!

Describing anything about high-end shoes as austerity has always struck me as ironic. I know, it's an appropriation of the term, but it still cracks me up anytime somebody mentions their austerity brogues that cost upwards of $500.

I suppose I should add that I really dig the fit, Moo.

My past two days in attempted style. I think taking self mirror pictures in the tailor shop is an all time low for me.

This is so many levels of horrible. It's like you're peacocking the whole outfit to death. Sorry.

However, the advice of a trusted tailor trumps anything that I have to say on the subject.

This is me wearing the coat buttoned. Too long isn't it? I think I will have it shortened by 2-3 inches and will also have the waist suppressed a bit.

What I was wearing underneath - I posted a picture of me wearing this Neil Barrett jacket a while ago to ask if I should keep it; one SFer said that DB doesn't suit me and told me to return it. Stubborn me kept it anyway since I thought the fit was ok. Did I make a mistake?

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Jacket: Neil Barrett

Shirt: Kenneth Cole
Jeans: Levi's
Shoes: Dolce & Gabbana
